The front carries our Templar seal design: two knights on one horse inside a round border lettered SIGILLVM MILITVM XPISTI ("Seal of the Soldiers of Christ"), drawn in engraved, woodcut-style linework. The back adds a short, sourced line of history across the upper back, set in small classical capitals between two thin rules. It reads: Two brothers sharing one horse appear on the Templars' seal from at least the 1160s, traditionally read as a symbol of poverty and brotherhood. We checked it against published sources before printing it, because a history shirt should get its history right.
The shirt is the Bella+Canvas 3001: lightweight 4.2 oz. jersey in Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, with side seams, shoulder taping, and a classic unisex fit. Solid colors are 100% cotton; heather colors contain polyester. It's pre-shrunk, and a little sheer in lighter colors.
Care: machine-wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle; tumble-dry low or hang-dry; don't iron the print. Printed on demand when you order.
