On the front, Non Nobis Domine in bold blackletter with red initials, beneath a small shield bearing a red cross pattée, with the rest of the Latin verse in smaller capitals. On the upper back, the English translation and its source: "Psalm 115:1 (Vulgate 113:9): Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory." "Non nobis, Domine" begins Psalm 115 (Psalm 113:9 in the Latin Vulgate), a verse traditionally associated with the Knights Templar. Putting the translation on the back means anyone who asks gets the answer, and the verse keeps its meaning of giving credit away. An independent design, not affiliated with any organization.
The shirt is the Bella+Canvas 3001: lightweight 4.2 oz. jersey in 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, with side seams, shoulder taping, and a classic unisex fit. It's pre-shrunk, and a little sheer in lighter colors.
Care: machine-wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle; tumble-dry low or hang-dry; don't iron the print. Printed on demand when you order.
